Currently Reading

The Uninhabitable Earth: Life After Warming by David Wallace- Wells

This book is still relentless and depressing but also it also talks about a vitally important topic so I am slowly reading it still. I am still not able to read more than twenty pages because A) this is a commute read and it takes me like fifteen minutes to reach work and B) it’s just too depressing and scary. I am hoping to finish it during the week. Let’s see how that actually works out.

The Mercies by Kiran Millwood Hargrave

I am really feeling things because of this book and it’s a particularly happy book so you can imagine the sort of feelings I have for the book. Still! I am loving the writing, the atmosphere and just the overall tone of the book. So yay for that.

Recently Finished

The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern

What can I say that I haven’t already said about the book? I loved it and found it to be better than The Night Circus and I didn’t think that was possible. I also posted a timely review of the book (yay me!), you can find it here.

Reading Next

Abhorsen by Garth Nix

I want to read the last book in this trilogy and see where the story ends. I really liked Sabriel despite having a few issues with it and enjoyed Lirael far more than Sabriel and I want to see where Abhorsen stands compared to the other two.
