Mid-year Freak Out Book Tag

Hello readers!

It’s already almost July. What the heck? Time is moving way too fast for me to actually catch up on a real-time basis. I haven’t had the best of months for the last three months. My ligament injury made sure I was stuck at home and in pain. However, it did lead me to read a lot more than I would have thought. I have read a total of 49 books so far this year. Which is quite a lot in my books, my yearly goal was 52 books, so yeah. I am not sure how that happened.

This is mid-June and that means that it’s high time I did a kind of check-in, right? So, with that in mind, I decided to bring back this tag because it pretty much covers all the key points of a check-in, anyway!

So, let’s just get into this one, shall we?

So, this is the check-in or more accurately, Mid-Year Freak Out book tag! I still have a couple of ideas regarding some blog posts that I will be trying to get around to soon-ish. Overall, my reading this year has been quite satisfactory for me. One thing I noticed about reading going well is that I only read what I felt like reading and that truly helped me. Another thing, I tend to go for tomes despite wanting to read more diversely in genres. Oh, well. I will truly stick with SFF and that’s okay. I get to read so much in this genre that it’s okay to be stuck here for a lifetime.

So, how has your year been so far? Books or otherwise? Have you read any of the books or do you have plans to? Please, don’t hesitate to share in the comments.

  2. I am reading Eyes of the Void right now and I’m really enjoying it. By the way, cool blog you have. I have a similar blog with many overlapping interests, mostly book reviews of SF and fantasy.
