Book Haul

Bookworms!

It has been a while since I did a book haul, isn’t it? It’s simply because I haven’t really bought a huge number of books. However, it’s been almost five months since I did one and now I have a few books to show off. So, yeah. I am sure that I won’t be having a separate book haul posts any time soon either, I have hopes that I will be only buying the books from the series I am actually reading from. So, yeah. That’s that. But I am not gonna say that I will definitely not be posting book hauls at all. This was quite confusing, wasn’t it? Never mind that.

The Wandering Earth by Cixin Liu

The Book of Dragons edited by Jonathan Strahan

The Girl Who Drank the Moon by Kelly Barnhill

Any Way the Wind Blows by Rainbow Rowell

Empire of Silence by Christopher Ruocchio

Howling Dark by Christopher Ruocchio

I have recently become more and more interested in short stories in science fiction or even fantasy so when the chance came, I followed my instinct. I just bought both The Wandering Earth and The Book of Dragons as soon as they were at an affordable rate. I have been eyeing The Girl Who Drank the Moon for so long now and I finally gave in. How long can you keep a book in your cart anyway? So, yeah, finally caved in. Any Way the Wind Blows was a natural buy for me because I have the other books in the series and I have been waiting for the series to wrap up so that I could re-read Fangirl and Carry On and finish the series. Then, this was me being absolutely weak for the idea of the Sun Eater series. So I bought the first two books impulsively!

Yeah, I am gonna hope that I will not regret any of the purchases. I mean, let’s be honest, I almost never regret my bookish purchases. Anyway, any books that catch your fancy from this book haul? Have you read any of them? If so, please, tell me only good things for now. No, seriously, I just don’t want regrets even before I read the books, okay?
