Omg. The last post of this kind for the year. I am glad this year is coming to an end, 2021 better be better than this year but frankly, I don’t have a lot of hope. We are still not quite there yet, are we? Just be safe, you guys!

The Dragon Republic by R. F. Kuang

I am in the last hundred pages of this one and I am just gonna say it, it’s blowing my mind. These books do not hold back. R. F. Kuang has managed to write a series that has so much in these books that I can’t quite pack all the feelings in one paragraph.

天官赐福, Tiān Guān Cì Fú (Heaven’s Official Blessing) by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu

I haven’t read anything since Friday, I am gonna admit that right away. I will be getting back to this one soon-ish. It’s nothing to do with the book being bad, I was genuinely enjoying it but there were the holidays, then, I read a novella and got distracted by many other things. So, let’s hope I will be making progress by the time next post comes up.

Recently Finished

Drowned Country by Emily Tesh

This duology was so good. I really enjoyed the world, the character and just the writing in general. Can’t wait to read more by this author. I think it was just like an extra look into the lives of the characters from the first book and I am not mad about that.
