WWW Wednesday

Hello bookworms!!!

So, I haven’t read as much as I wanted to during the weekend and even this week. I am not sure what it is that made me speed down the reading. Here’s to hoping that it’s better by next week.

This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading

Ship of Magic by Robin Hobb

I am about ¼th of the way through and I have to say, from one POV to so many POVs, this is a game changer and perhaps not in the best way possible. This opinion could change at any moment because I love multiple POVs in fantasy, they work so well and I can totally see how different people in different places would really appeal to me later on.

Recently Finished

The Assassin’s Quest by Robin Hobb

I finally finished off the trilogy and I cried, I am not gonna lie. I can’t wait to pick up the next Fitz book because I am very eager to know how many more ways can his life be messed up. Because let’s be real here, it ain’t gonna be happy whatever the next trilogy is. I am just prepared, is all.

Bloodchild by Octavia Butler

This little story grabbed my attention and I really enjoyed the writing style as well as the personalities that the characters showed in a 30 page story. I can’t wait to read more of Butler.

Reading Next

Mad Ship by Robin Hobb

I am hoping that by next week, I will have some progress on this front, at least. I am hoping that I love this series as much as the Farseer trilogy because please, I want to love this so much.

+++++

And that’s it for this week. Have you read any of the books yet? If so, which one is it and did you like it? Also are any of these on your tbr if you haven’t read them yet? Tell me all about it in the comments below! Also don’t forget to tell me what you are currently reading!
