Ok, so now I am thoroughly immersed and obsessed with the Farseer trilogy and reminded as to why I loved Robin Hobb so much! Also since my copy of The Burning God is delayed, I am not gonna start The Poppy War just yet. Instead I am falling into another Robin Hobb rabbithole.

Ship of Magic by Robin Hobb

So, after much debating with myself as to what I wanted to read, I decided on this. I wasn’t quite ready to let go of this world. It does mean that I have to finish this trilogy though and then start anything else that was planned earlier.

The Royal Assassin by Robin Hobb

Oh, man. This book is just a big bottle of sadness, isn’t it? Sure, some good things happen but overall, this book was just one more proof that Fitz and the others really did a number in their past lives to deserve something like this happening in this life. Gosh. I cried, okay?

The Assassin’s Quest by Robin Hobb

Within the first fifty pages, I cried, so you can see the trend setting here. I am just heartsick for these people, for Verity, for Fitz, for Burrich, for Chade, for Molly and Kettricken and I…ugh. I finished the trilogy and felt empty for about twelve hours?
