The Royal Assassin by Robin Hobb

I finally started this one on Monday, no, Tuesday, really and I can’t say I am loving it. Can anyone love this much sadness in their life? However, I am in just awe of the simplicity and beauty of Hobb’s writing. I had forgotten how very impressed I was by her writing last year. I am ready to get my heart broken or if not broken then kinda battered? I am not really doing a great job of gushing over this trilogy, am I?

Recently Finished

Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb

Loved diving back in to this world and  Fitz still doesn’t have the best life this time around either. However, as I said earlier, I absolutely love Hobb’s writing so I am pretty happy to be back in this realm. Although I am still sad about Nosy and Smithy, I am still mad at Galen and Regal and I can’t believe I am looking forward to more heartbreak.
