Hello, hello! It’s been a great year for me as far as reading is concerned. I mean, sureI haven’t read hundreds of books but the books I did end up reading were really good. There were maybe a couple which disappointed me and that’s like, nothing in a sea of good books. However, that does not mean that I have read as much as I wanted to. I still have a few books I want to finish reading before the year ends. The list is truly ambitious and it’s very unlikely that I might finish reading them because well, none of these books are what one would call a light read.

When they say go big or go home, I took that to mean go home with big books. So, here I am with my list. I am going to list the sure ones and down the line, there would be a couple of maybes. That’s because while I love reading, it’s simply not possible sometimes to read as much as I might want to. So, without further ado, here are all the books I hope/want to finish before the year ends!

To Sleep in a Sea of Stars by Christopher Paolini

I am currently reading this and I am pretty sure, I can finish this before the middle of the month hits me in the face. So yay for that!

The Farseer trilogy by Robin Hobb

I have just started my re-read of this trilogy in order to get deeper into the Realm of Elderlings because I just want to be really immersed in the world, you see? So I added these three books to my to-be-read-before-the-year-ends list. I know. I am just full of sensible decisions.

The Poppy War trilogy by R. F. Kuang

Haha. Hahaha. I know. I am just setting myself up to a disappointment. This whole series is so hyped up and well received by readers all over the world and I simply can’t wait to read them all before the year ends. I have pre-ordered The Burning God so that should be arriving somewhere around November end or early December. I am hoping that I might finish the whole series before the middle of December hits. Let’s see how that goes. This is ridiculously ambitious of me and I just don’t know how I will manage this.

Now, we come to the maybe of the list. These books are just there in case I finish the above books by some heavenly miracle. What am I even thinking right now? What’s wrong with me?

The Great Hunt by Robert Jordan

Yes. I know. I gave up on this but I also have hopes that I might be able to pick it up again and soon. Let’s see how I do with the other books and if I am in the mood to read it after the big tbr is done with.

The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson

I know, ok? I know. There’s no way I can finish The Great Hunt and this one. So, it is at the very bottom of the list. I however do want to read the Stormlight Archive badly. So if I don’t end up reading it in December, you can bet your money that I will be starting it in January.  I am also going to order Oathbringer and Rhythm of War as soon as I am done with The Way of Kings because I have faith in Sanderson to make me fall in love with this series as much as I love his other books.

And that’s it for my immediate tbr before the year ends. It’s ambitious as hell and I have no faith in myself at the moment to believe that I could actually read this much but!
