WWW Wednesday

Hello bookworms!!!

I have put down The Great Hunt for now, clearly I am not enjoying it and I don’t want to read on while I am not enjoying it. So, let’s see when I get back to it.

This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

+++++

Currently Reading

Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb

You know how you decide that you are gonna do a thing and then you even post online about it so you can’t go back? But then, you start thinking about the series as a whole and then think that probably the original reading order that you had decided on was perhaps the best one. And then you start reading the first book in the first trilogy again. Yeah.

To Sleep in a Sea of Stars by Christopher Paolini

Still reading this, it’s so bothersome! The paperback of this is pretty heavy and unwieldy too. Still, I am chugging along. This is very hard sci-fi. I am really enjoying it though! It’s pretty action packed and for a book that was this big, I was expecting some very long dull patches but so far there aren’t. Maybe I just haven’t hit them yet.

Recently Finished

Nothing as of yet. These are big books I am reading, okay? Have mercy on my poor eyes.

Reading Next

The Poppy War by R. F. Kuang

I have been putting it off in the hope that I might get to buy a paperback of The Burning God but I am still not sure if I will so, let’s just read it. I am dying to read it and it’s bound to hurt me so let’s get this over with.

+++++

And that’s it for this week. Have you read any of the books yet? If so, which one is it and did you like it? Also are any of these on your tbr if you haven’t read them yet? Tell me all about it in the comments below! Also don’t forget to tell me what you are currently reading!

  1. Sometimes there is nothing better than a big beefy book. I once had a 984-page biography of Winston Churchill checked out of the library, and somehow I finished it in 9 days! But now I wish I’d taken my time with it a little more. I have it on Kindle so I can read it again anytime I like, and as soon as my TBR pile goes down a little, I will. Happy reading!

    1. I am in the middle of To Sleep in a Sea of Stars and I am really enjoying it. However if sci-fi is not your favourite genre then this is not the first book to ease yourself into it, I think. Also, I can’t wait to read The Poppy War either!!
