Hello bookworms!!!
This week has been good for me so far, let’s hope it continues to be so!

Currently Reading
These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong
A 1920s Romeo and Juliet retelling in an alternate Shanghai? And it’s done well!!! So far, I am loving this book. While Romeo and Juliet is not my favourite, I am still really enjoying this because there’s so much to love! I am so glad I got this approved on NetGalley.

Recently Finished
Vita Nostra by Marina and Sergei Dyachenko (Julia Meitov Hersey – Translator)
I read this as feverishly as Sasha, the main character tried to understand the study materials she’s given in this book. This is truly a ride. There’s such intensity and so much psychological exploration of so many themes. I am still not sure if it is fantasy or science fiction or a blend of both. All I know is, people, read this one if you haven’t read it yet.

Reading Next
Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo
I am hoping to pick this one up, finally. Let’s see if that happens. I might pick up the second book in the Wayfarers series too. It could be either at this point.

And that’s it for this week. Have you read any of the books yet? If so, which one is it and did you like it? Also are any of these on your tbr if you haven’t read them yet? Tell me all about it in the comments below! Also don’t forget to tell me what you are currently reading!
I wanna hear your thoughts on Ninth House

I am nearing the end of the book and gotta say this will probably be between three to four stars. Let’s see if the end really manages to turn this book around.
