Uh, hi. I know, it’s been a while. However, I am kinda back. I have also read a fair bit since my last reading update so there’s something to actually talk about instead of just staring at the blank draft page. Yay for progress.

Currently Reading

The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan

Considering the snail’s pace I am reading this at, I am hoping to finish this one by the end of the month. The story is picking up well after the slow start and I am enjoying it so far. The characters, apart from Rand, that is, are not easy to figure out and there’s always that feeling that I don’t know so much about this world and that’s the best feeling because it gives me hope that I would come to know more.

The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers

Can I just say that this book definitely met the expectations that everyone kept hiking up just by a mere mention of it? I loved it so much and the found family aspect of the book just made me sigh in happiness if I am being honest. I am hoping to pick up the second book soon but I am not making any promises right now.

Reading Next

Miss Benson’s Beetle by Rachel Joyce

This still remains the book I want to read and I haven’t picked it up because I am feeling too overwhelmed by other things and The Eye of the World right now. Hopefully, by the weekend, this book will be picked up. Pray for me.
