The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers

I am really enjoying this book and although I am reading it ever so slowly, I genuinely think it might be one of my favourites of the year. So, there’s that. There’s just something about found family, when it’s done right, it’s just….*chef’s kiss* so good!

The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan

Yes, I know. This series was my most intimidating series of all time and I am finally dipping my toes in. I am only about fifty pages in but I am really enjoying the world building and the writing style. The author really takes the time to establish his world. Here’s to hoping I love it enough to continue.

Recently Finished

Promise, Texas by Debbie Macomber

I have no idea why I read it but I came across it while I was cleaning out some things and well, I read it in a couple of hours, found out why I might have liked it and found a few problematic things about it too. Ah, the cons or maybe the pros of growing up and learning what kind of things can be problematic.

All Along You Were Blooming by Morgan Harper Nichols

This was so good and I might have stretched reading it too long but I think I needed it that way. In any case, if you are in need of something positive and optimistic and just feel-good, then this is the book for you.

Miss Benson’s Beetle by Rachel Joyce

One of the three e-ARCs that are still sitting idle in my Kindle. So, it’s high time I read it. It’s not even that it’s not interesting to me anymore, I just wasn’t in the mood for anything and it already released, I think. Truly, my bad.
