WWW Wednesday

Hello bookworms!!!

I finally read a few books and didn’t feeling like flinging myself or my books into despair. That’s progress, my friends. So yay for that. For now, I think I am on track with my reading plans. Keeping my fingers crossed though.

This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading

The Kingdom of Copper by S. A Chakraborty

Absolutely enjoying this book right now. So much happened at the end of the first book and I am still trying to understand half the things, I am super intrigued about Ali’s ‘transformation’, Dara’s ‘absence’ and poor Nahri, facing all that.

All Along You Were Blooming by Morgan Harper Nichols

I am really enjoying this one but I am taking my time with it too. I want to go back and read a few pages and then, get back to my RL. This is giving such good vibes in general, I don’t want to lose it.

As You Were by Elaine Feeney

An e-ARC that has been sitting in my NetGalley for far too long. I am halfway through this one, I want to enjoy it but I am not too sure how much I will actually end up liking this one. Let’s see.

Recently Finished

The City of Brass by S. A. Chakraborty

Absolutely loved the revisit to the city of Deavabad and its residents, fell in love with Ali all over again, as I had predicted. Loved Nahri and I am still dubious about Dara in general, not sure what’s wrong with him to be honest but something is definitely wrong for sure. I am hoping The Kingdom of Copper offers some answers.

Saint X by Alex Schaitkin

This was such a different book from my usual picks and it was written so well too! I loved the themes explored in the book and I loved that I didn’t like the main characters. Don’t ask me why. Sometimes it be like that.

Reading Next

The Empire of Gold by S. A. Chakraborty

I am really ready to finish a series because it’s been a while since I did that. I want to feel that awesome feeling of finishing a series in a marathon read. Of sorts.

And that’s it for this week. Have you read any of the books yet? If so, which one is it and did you like it? Also are any of these on your tbr if you haven’t read them yet? Tell me all about it in the comments below! Also don’t forget to tell me what you are currently reading!
