WWW Wednesday

Hello bookworms!!!

It’s a new month and I have finished one of the books I have been meaning to read. I already call it a better month than March. It might be a bit too early to say that but I have to take my wins where I can.

This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

+++++

Currently Reading

My Dark Vanessa by Kate Elizabeth Russell

This book is not a comfortable read but I think it is a very important read. I think pretty much everyone in the bookish community knows what this book is about so I am not going to babble on.

The Sisters Grimm by Menna Van Praag

I finally picked it up and I have only just started this one so I have no idea how I might find it. It’s about four sisters and magical portals and peril. These things are enough to tempt me, I am very easy that way.

Recently Finished

Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson

It took me weeks to read those 200+ pages the last time I picked it up but this time, I finished it in four days. I don’t know what went wrong the last time, however this book is so good. Fast paced in the way that you are never bored, multiple perspectives and brilliant magic systems. what more do you ask for in a Sanderson book? Plot twists, you say? Well, they are there aplenty, never worry.

The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J. K. Rowling

This is the book I read for OWLs magical readathon and also as a comfort of sorts while I started reading My Dark Vanessa because that book is a bit ickier than I even anticipated if I am being honest.

And that’s it for this week. Have you read any of the books yet? If so, which one is it and did you like it? Also are any of these on your tbr if you haven’t read them yet? Tell me all about it in the comments below! Also don’t forget to tell me what you are currently reading!
