Hello bookworms!!!
I have spent a bit more money than I thought I would on books so there’s that for an update of the week so far. I mean, this time I am really hoping to restrain myself from going crazy but them books, man, they just keep popping out with awesome ideas and gorgeous covers. How am I supposed to stop myself? (No, I really want to know, please, gimme tips.)

Currently Reading
Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson
I am trying it again. Pray for me. Pray that this mood stays strong and I finish this one because I don’t wanna be disappointed in myself. Again.

Recently Finished
The Dispossessed by Ursula K. Le Guin
I finally read it and I really enjoyed it. I think for her times, Le Guin was truly fantastic. No wonder, people are such huge fans of her works. Her ideas are so complex and yet they are written in such an accessible way. It was brilliant.
The Black God’s Drums by P. Djèlí Clark
It was a fast paced, it was immersive and super fun to read. The story is set in an alternate historical times when New Orleans has airships and gods settled in it during the whole Civil War time? I am not American and if I am mixing timelines I am sorry. It was super enjoyable.
The Bookish Life of Nina Hill by Abbi Waxman
It was exactly what I needed at the time, quarantine had just started in India. There was no work from home set up. So yeah, you can imagine how that went. Anyway. It’s such a good book, I gave it five stars because Nina is very relatable as a bookish person.
The Witches Are Coming by Lindy West
I never disagreed with anything the author had to say but there was nothing new, I already knew about those topics. I did laugh at times it is very succinctly put but as I said, nothing really new.

Reading Next
Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman
I am keeping my options open this time. So it’s either this or two others. I am not sure. I do want to read something wholesome though and it can’t any more wholesome than this, I guess.
The Dutch House by Ann Patchett
I know I put it as one of my reading next in an earlier post but somehow I never got around to it. I am once again putting it here in the hopes that I might actually read it.
+++++
And that’s it for this week. Have you read any of the books yet? If so, which one is it and did you like it? Also are any of these on your tbr if you haven’t read them yet? Tell me all about it in the comments below! Also don’t forget to tell me what you are currently reading!

I watched the show before I read the book but I am sure the show didn’t go exactly the same as the book. So I am hoping for some surprises. 😂
