Last week and the weekend was so busy that I haven’t been able to make much progress in my reading. I am kinda mad about it but on the other hand, I had a lot of fun doing other things, too. So…yeah. It’s a weird feeling. Oh, well.

Currently Reading

The Broken Kingdoms by N. K. Jemisin

I am currently in the middle of this one and I can see why so many people have lauded this author. She can write! God. I absolutely love her way of storytelling. I am not done with the trilogy but by god, I am enjoying every moment of it so far.

You Let Me In by Camilla Bruce

I am still not very far into this one. Only 11%. Yeah. I just haven’t had the time. Hopefully, this week is kinder to me as far as reading goes. Here’s to hoping!

Recently Finished

The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms by N. K. Jemisin

My introduction to this author couldn’t have been grander. I genuinely loved this one and although it took me a while to finish this book, it wasn’t because I wasn’t interested or dying to know what was going to happen. RL just took a bit more of my time.

Reading Next

The Kingdom of Gods by N. K. Jemisin

Yep, you guessed it right. It’s the third book in the trilogy. Let’s just say that once I start a series this year, the next few weeks are just going to be about that series unless there’s another book I am reading along with the series.
