Books To Read in 2020

Bookworms!

You know how we all make new year’s resolutions and try to stick to them. More than half the time, we very majestically fail at it and those who manage to actually do it are out of the this world. So this year, I decided to try something different.

As it is, I am participating in #startonyourshelfathon, I decided why not list the books that I am actually hoping to get to this year. Mind you, these are mostly standalones and there will be a separate post for the series I want to get to. You will note that almost all of them are backlist and that’s my motto for the year.

I want to get to the actual physical tbr that I have created for myself rather than reading the latest thing that comes to me. I am also hoping to minimize the my book-buying but that’s a hope and not a resolution. I really doubt I have the control required for that sort of thing.

So without further ado, let’s look at the books I hope to read this year.

These are the books I have made myself swear I will read. So, you can hold me accountable by the year’s end if I haven’t been doing well in this goal.

These are the books I am hoping to read this year and well, only time will tell how well I do at this challenge I have put for myself. Are you doing something similar this year? Is this something you suffer from as well? Or are you more of a very limited physical tbr sort of person? Share all that in the comments below.

    1. Shadow of the wind hasn’t been read because I had heard too many glowing reviews and it’s such a favourite among some people that it intimidated me but I am hoping it’s been long enough that I can enjoy it. Also all the books I can get my hands on, I am hoping to read. 😂
