Sapiens:A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari

Still reading this, still taking my time with this but trust me when I say this, I am really loving it. It’s just written so well!! I think I am going to have to buy the next books from this author and it’s not sitting well with my ‘not buying a lot of books’ plan.

The German House by Annette Hess; Elisabeth Lauffer

Finally started reading this one, I am only 10% in so far and I think the story has started to pick up because for the first five percent, I was really confused whether I was given the correct book or not. That might have been me being greedy for the action to start immediately more than anything though.

Recently Finished

A Conjuring Of Light by V. E. Schwab

So…I finished the series. Omg. How did I manage this? I have been so reluctant to read this one because the previous book in the series did disappoint me a bit but I am so glad that I picked it up finally. It is so much better than the second book and is, perhaps, a saviour to a series I was close to giving up on. So much happens and I was just enjoying the ride, okay?

Reading Next

The People in the Trees by Hanya Yanagihara

This book has been on my tbr for a while now and the book itself had been sitting for a long while on my shelf, unread. So I finally picked it up. Let’s see how it goes. I am only like 2 pages in so I am not counting it as a current read.

Vengeance of Hope by P. J. Berman

I also want to read this one because one it sounds pretty interesting and two, it was kindly sent by the author. The sequel is coming out soon too! So there’s that to look forward to. It’s a fantasy and it seems to have some strong female characters, of course, I was tempted when I was told about this book.
