WWW Wednesday

Hello bookworms!!!

Look at me, properly following through on my promises/hopes! Aren’t I getting better at this thing? (Say yes because I desperately want to hear that) But, yeah, here’s the second installment of the WWW Wednesday!!!

This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

+++++

Currently Reading

Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson

Gosh, the weekend was full and hectic that I didn’t end up reading much of the book at all. I am still loving the book though so far. One thing that has continued on from The Enchantment of Ravens is Rogerson’s gorgeous writing. I am in love with the descriptions and just her use of language, okay?

Dead Voices by Katherine Arden

Yes, I can’t believe that I am reading this so immediately after Small Spaces but there we go! This book or rather this series is perfect for commute read because it’s middle grade and it’s not terribly long, I can totally take it with me and not worry about it.

Recently Finished

Small Spaces by Katherine Arden

This was such a good middle grade book! Also I don’t think I need to say much about Katherine Arden’s writing and plotting in general. I really enjoyed the friendship that bloomed out of the story and loved every bit of Ollie’s house and her dad. Also this book made me more hungry than is probably normal?

6% Better Than Dave by Alastair Puddick

It was such a fun and quick read and while shenanigans do happen, there’s that underlying thread running throughout the book about how we perceive ourselves and our successes and how we compare ourselves with others. It was a great read and I think I loved it because it came at the right time to me.

Reading Next

A Conjuring of Light by V. E. Schwab

Yep, it’s still on the list because I simply wasn’t able to read as much as I wanted to read during the weekend. Oh, well. Let’s move on from this, shall we?

The Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima

What’s more awesome than starting a whole new series while I am not even close to finishing all the other series I want to read and should read? Why yes, it’s because I am just built that way. I am that annoying person.

+++++

And that’s it for this week! Have you read any of the books yet? If so, which one is it and did you like it? Also are any of these on your tbr if you haven’t read them yet? Tell me all about it in the comments below! Also don’t forget to tell me what you are currently reading!
