Hi, hello!

It’s time for another tag! However this time, it’s kinda timely. I mean, in a way. I have been meaning to do it for a while but somehow never got around to it and then, while I was just reading Melanie’s posts on her blog (as you do)  ,  I realised it’s high time I get around to it.

So, here it is. The End of the Year Book Tag!

+++

 1. Are there any book you started this year that you need to finish?

I am trying to be practical here and I doubt any of my earlier books will be here but I am trying to finish Strange the Dreamer this month. It’s bizarre that I haven’t finished reading this already because everything about this book is pretty much perfect for me and yet, here we are.

+++

 2. Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

Not really? I mean, there are many autumnal books but no transitional books. Not really. So, I am just going to consider my current read of Jane Eyre to be that.

+++

 3. Is there a new release that you’re still waiting for?

Skyward by Brandon Sanderson! I started to read Brandon Sanderson’s books this year and I fell in love with his writing and yes, I am aware that this book is released everywhere, in India though, its release date is supposedly December, 15.

+++

 4. What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

All three of the books are on my monthly tbr and I have especially been waiting for December for The Bear and the Nightingale as well as The Girl in the Tower.

+++

 5. Is there a book you think could still shock you & become a favorite of the year?

I just finished Vicious last week and I immediately started Vengeful the next day and so far, I have been really enjoying the book. I am taking my time with it though but I don’t think this one could potentially turn out to be one of my favourites of 2018. (Edit: I finished it before this post went up, however that does not negate the brilliance of this book if I am being honest. So Consider this a contender for a new favourite of the year.)

+++

 6. Have you already started making reading plans for 2019?

Oh, yes! It’s all a bit vague right now but I do have some ideas as to what I am going to be reading in 2019. I am hoping for more buddy reads because I have found out that they are fun and I want more of that.

+++

And that’s it for this tag! I hope you had fun with those answers. Also, if you have read any of them or are about to read them, tell me! So we can squeal about it together. As always, if you haven’t done this tag yet and are interested in doing so, consider yourself tagged!

Till the next time!

    omg yes absolutely read The Night Circus! it’s one of my top favorites, and I think it makes a great cozy winter read. I also love Jane Eyre, Strange the Dreamer and Vengeful; weirdly enough, I actually preferred the second books in those duologies (Muse of Nightmares & Vengeful)? but the first books are great too, of course, and I’ve heard great things about the other books on your list!

      I am really enjoying The Night Circus, for some reason it’s taking a while to finish Strange the Dreamer, I don’t even know why. About the Villains series, I think I like it more probably because I read it as a buddy read with a few people and we all squealed over it as we read on. So maybe I am more emotionally attached to it. But I do admit that Vengeful was absolutely brilliant too!
